"Where did that come from?"

Last night when I was walking home from the Cafe around 7:30, I spotted a bag of trash just laying in the middle of Pultney Street. Where did this full bag of trash come from, did it fall off the back of a Kubota? Out of a car? Cars driving along were dramatically swerving around it. My boyfriend decided to move it, but was unsure of where to move it to as there was not a garbage can in sight. He ended up just putting it on the side of the road. At least it was out of the way of traffic but what was its fate? I felt bad just leaving it on the side of the road, but lugging a large bag around campus in the dark seemed a bit sketchy. Hopefully it eventually made it to the right place... (it was gone this morning.)
