Water Update and Cardboard

This week marks our 5th week of posting and for many of us garbage has become something that we look at differently. I personally look at garbage with a much heavier weight. We know where and how all the waste we generate is disposed of and this has had a substantial change on my view of garbage. The picture on the bottom is the next update on my water consumption tracking. Keep in mind I have been collecting and keeping the plastics that the water I drink over the weekend (fri-sun) generates. As this collection grows it becomes increasingly apparent the sheer volume of waste that one person is capable of generating while trying to sustain the consumption of one of the most basic human needs, water. The picture on the top is showing us the amount of waste generated every time someone orders food from dominoes. As all of us know dominoes does a lot of business with the colleges and the nation as a whole and I felt it is important to take a quick look at the waste dominoes generates. Each of their food items comes in huge cardboard containers that seems to be quite a bit of waste. There must be a better way for dominoes to supply its food to customers without having to use this much cardboard which generates huge volumes of waste.
